Civil aircraft maintenance licenses are issued under the following categories: |
A320 CBT for EASA Part 66 module 5 |

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Category A The Category A licence permits the holder to certify scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Category B1 The Category B1 licence permits the holder to certify maintenance work carried out on aircraft structure, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Category B2 The Category B2 licence permits the holder to certify maintenance work carried out on avionic and electrical systems. |
